Art in the Garden

Thanks to generous funding from the Romsey Arts Festival, Hampshire County Council and Test Valley, we have had a series of workshops focusing on leaves and recycling with Infant and Junior classes from the Romsey area. Children also worked with Artist Elizabeth Hodgson and students from Romsey and Mountbatten Schools to cut and hammer an aluminium leaf. These leaves will become part of a sculpture in the Gardens. This sculpture will be unveiled at the a launch to be held at the Gardens on the 11 July. Participating schools are invited to return for dance, music and art workshops on that day.

Dates: 11 July
Ages: Key stage 1 or 2. Children must come accompanied by a member of staff plus additional helpers; please see our normal ratio guidelines.
Numbers: Schools may send up to 15 students.
